A letter to myself.

I know myself and who I am.

The factors around me cannot dictate.

Learning, growing, evaluating, making change.

It’s all part of the process of setting a pace.

We have an unfriendly system. A system that doesn’t uplift the people.

How do I now challenge myself? Push myself? By making plans, following the maple.

You know who you are.

Talent, sought-after, different, unbreakable.

That should define you.

Down-lookers remain that name.

Their spoken words can’t find you fame.

If you maintain your lane,

I bet you’ll be far away from shame.

The race of life is like a game,

Too fast? You lose out on experience.

Too slow? You become lost.

Dear self, listen to that silent voice.
